What is RSS?
RSS are news feeds which allow you to see when websites have added
new content. You can get the latest recipes from us as soon as they
are published, without having to visit our website to check if any
are there.
How do I use RSS?
Simply click the RSS logo on the page of the site that you wish
to receive
updates from automatically. Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera
and
Safari, will then automatically bookmark the RSS link and automatically
check for feeds for you when you next use the browser. They will
then display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing
to feeds much easier.
For those using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will need a piece
of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles
that have been added.
There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using
a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
What does RSS stand for?
Although there is no definitive explanation, it is generally accepted
that RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'.
